Nobody is born with in inherent knowledge about everything to do with makeup. Everyone has to start off as a newb (newb is gamer talk for being new and inexperienced). Even I was once a newb to makeup. The only way to learn is trial and error, research or to have someone willing to teach you. I have made my "For Newbs" series because I do really want to help people who are new to makeup to learn the beginning essentials. Knowledge is the greatest tool -- the more you know the more you can do. I hope this series will answer some of basic beginner's questions and if you still have questions please ask me in the video comments or in private message. Please don't be afraid to ask. PLEASE NOTE: If you are a seasoned makeup veteran and this information is too basic to be useful to you I will understand if you don't want to watch this particular series in my videos, but stick around for more tutorials and reviews as they will always be a part of my venue. Thank you for your support. NOTE: I guess my estimates on getting started could be a little high. You can get Primer for as cheap as a 1-2$ (if you get elf primer). You can also get elf brushes which are about a each, maybe a little more for the bigger ones. And a decent palette for about -20. So I'll say you can get started for about - if you really bargain hunt and get the least expensive stuff you can find. If you want a really big palette and the best brushes and primer it will be more expensive of course ...
